Mitsubishi VS. Subaru thread from David Buschur
I think its time to call out another group of cars
Second year the subaru guys just go to the bracket class. Next year maybe Mitsubishi vs anything turbo or something of that nature. I had alot of fun though, thanks for having the event and thanks kevin for making a pass in my car.

Great time, had fun with everyone, awsome endurence from the buschur team, its hard to believe a car like the"evo" can run that many passes and not break its a mitsu for crying out loud they were made to break...... once again buschur team awsome quality on your team cars...
Curt..... well he's curt,
that run of 9.60s with a motor taking a poo the way down the trackreally shows how good he is.... + on a 35r guess it a new world record on that turbo? thats all that needs said on that note.
Ams well your Ams {Awsome}, car was unreal, def an 8 sec car just a few bugs holdin it back. great drivin by ERIC, all the vendors really were Class acts to see,and hang out with, can't wait until DSM shoot out....
Personal note: Don't go to any stripclubs in Norwalk at 3am with a debt card......and stay until 5am, + drink 3 ,30packs of busch and then get up at 7:30am and go race/watch......

I dont think that would work either. We would have to try to rent 3 miles of the turnpike to make this event happen. Otherwise they wouldnt come out to play with us either.

It could be the first ever 60-140mph rolling shootout.
Thanks to Buschur Racing for making me an bullet proof evo bottom end
As evidenced by the Black Buschur car's mutiple passes down the track and my dozens of testing trips on public roads for the week before the event - (including with some corp mitsu "visitors" to buschur and the SRvids guys as well - my engine was solid as a rock
Thanks Buschur Racing for all your hard work to make the very best Evo motors
No words can express how going 9.7 feels
I am one happy dude

Jease guys sounds like an awesome day! Glad to see so many of the fast cars showed up. I know of a few who didn't quite get their cars done in time for this race, so I'm guessing Englishtown could be another great day.
Anyone know why TurboTrix was there this weekend?

And thanks again for letting us set up the incar camera at the track! And a big thanks to the Bushur guys for the hospitality and for putting together a very fun event...was well worth the 13-14 hour drive.
I have to go freshen the rental up before I return it, it got some helll this weekend!
Hey Dave,
Did you ever read this post I made about your loss of all electrical power in the Drag car?
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...0&postcount=45
Perhaps I didn't make it clear in the post, but I was refering to the battery harness being interfeared with by the upper IC pipe and shift levers due to using the sheet metal intake manifold. Sounds like you have it resolved now
I am all for a 100% drag car. Putting an exhaust on it and running it on the street would be a stunt, and if you were into illegal street racing for big money it may even be a viable option.... but the car is your advertising for the shop. The RS shows what you can do in a full street car setup, and the drag car needs to show what you can do with a full drag car setup... no holds bared. Put a spool in place of the ACD system, spool in the front and spool in the rear along with full slicks on each corner. Full drag suspension, and remove all weight not needed in a drag car rather than leaving street car amenities in it.
Just my view,
Keith
