I always have had good luck ordering from vivid, They shipped my stuff right away, and I even got the tracking numbers. So far I've gotten my Agency power rear sway bar, perrin TBE, Perrin boost tube, and Cusco v1 and v2 from them. I had only 1 problem where they sent me the wrong sway bar but they 2nd dayed me the right sway bar. I will probably order from them again. I always deal with Matt through PM's on this message board.

i've heard other bad things about them, i at one time last year purchased a blow off valve from them got in a good amount of time and no complaint there. but i do tend just to stick with my usualy vendors z-1 auto and lancershop. i think its time we make a black list of vendors not to shop from Gruppe-s being number one and two i guess should be vivid considering this is my 4th or so time hearing about mishaps from them.

dude thats F'ed up...i would do whatever is necessary to get your cash back that you were charged double for.. that is some BS if i ever heard some about them coming seperatly even if they did they would be listed as each or for one on the site to clearly state you had to buy 2...man i feel bad for you its companies like this that make buying anything anymore a pain

I guess I'll share my recent Vivid story too... I placed an order for around $700 worth of stuff on June 9th. They didn't hesitate to bill my credit card the same day.

2 days later I received a call from them telling me the parts were out of stock and asked if I would like similar products. I said no and asked for my money back. The next day I received another call from someone there telling me they had a customer cancel an order and the parts would be available.

Now I ordered Espelir springs and Project Mu rotors.. What would be the odds that someone would cancel the same order I just placed? Smelled fishy.

The main problem is that my credit card still hasn't been refunded. I just moved and really need the cash! Also are they allowed to bill immediately even when parts will take a long time to ship? I know companies like New Egg won't bill you until they've shipped.

Most GOOD companies will not bill you until they close the deal which means ship the product(s). Vivid SUCKS plain and simple. I would call them and demand a refund ASAP.

I hope they don't f*** up every customer they deal with. You're an idiot for buying from them just because they screw over so many other members of this board as well as many others as you can see if you read this.

I would sugg. buying from a good vendor (Speed Element, Gruppe-S, Z1 Auto, Lancershop.com) that way you're not helping Vivid stay in business.

With all the bad stories about VIVID, (And believe me there is at least one on every message bored out there, not just EVOM) I am amazed that they are able to still do business at all. I would think that people would stay away from them by now.

Remember....Vivid is owned by Agency Power. Same guy runs the show...Dan Mermelstein or whatever his name is. IMO Agency Power stuff appears to be made from designs that they copy and have a local company reproduce. Not only that....Vivid Racing started out by selling cell phone holders to ASU college kids and then went on to turn it into an aftermarket parts company that drop ships everything. Just some background on the company.....

I will never order from Vivid Racing again. I ordered spark plugs, a Lineage grounding kit, and Nology plug wires from them and paid for 2 day shipping with a money order. 3 weeks later, I called them and they said there was a delay from the "check" I sent them. Good excuse. Later on I ordered 1 spark plug and they sent me 4. A $33 suck up to me.

And your thread is closed. If you want to discuss a vendor here, then do it in a mature fashion. What amazes me is that you have never purchased from Vivid and have nothing first hand to add.
