I notice that the Audi AWD has been on this circuit for years now and was just wondering if someone (like Mitshi for example) is going to sponser a team. The usual engine output is in the 400 to 500 hp range for the Audis so the question is can the EVO's engine be modified to do the job?

The answer is yes. Both the HKS evo and JUN hyper lemon evo make over 500+hp. And they both hold track records for time attacks at Tsukuba circuit. 500+hp 4G63's is not uncommon.
