Evo sighting in San Diego

Was down in San Diego today checking out housing around UCSD and saw a Red Evolution pull out of an apartment complex. This was the fist Evo I've seen on the road so it's a big deal for me. Thing that got me about this was it looked like a 12 year old kid was driving it! I've been saving for an Evo since last year and it seems like the money goes as soon as it comes hehehe. So I'm envious of this kid and a little irked by him at the same time ;D

Wasn't official UCSD campus housing, it was a community apartment building, pretty damn big. It was located on the big residential street that leads to the 5 freeway just as you get outside the medical building of UCSD. I can't remeber the name of the complex off hand. Evo was brand new no tags on it or anything and I dunno but it seemed like the wing was lower than the Carbon Fiber one I've seen at the dealerships although maybe I just didn't get a great look at it cause I was so excited hehe.

Damn, the only Evo's I've seen in town were at the dealerships. I did see many at the RRM/ commercial
shoot, but that was in L.A. Oh well, just have to keep an eye out.

I think you may be talking about me, and by the way I'm 19 and I go to UCSD

Oh and btw, I'm a second year from Muir in case you want to stalk me, and be aware that I have a lot of firearms in my apt. I live off campus.

Yeah I have to say I can't stand kids driving new cars, but then you think about it... the Evo is only $30k... you see kids driving new BMWs and Mercs and Lexus's, those are at least 35K and above. I worked my *** off for this car, part time jobs up the *** and then my parents helped me pay for the other part of the car.

But a true enthusist doesn't have to be old, i've taken apart the engine of my 94 BMW 3-series to replace manifold gaskets, swapped all 4 shocks myself. And i've done countless crap on my 91 integra like swapping shocks/springs, **** i've even done an engine swap with some friends.

I just don't appreciate people flaming on other people when they have no idea who they are talking about.

agree with u 100%, gannerboy. i didn't mean to be hatin. if u a true enthusiast, by all means u made an excellent choice in getting a lanevo. hope to see u around in ur pimp ride. btw, i go to marshall, i'm a first yr living in the res halls. hoping to get a evo with enough cash saved up... if i get mine, we gotta have a race around campus loop. now that's what the evo was made for! all those twisties... mmm...

Part time jobs up the ***? I want an evo but I sure wouldn't start selling my body for one! just playin'!

Forgive the sarcasm I'm honestly envious, red's the color I want and seeing as it was the first evo I've seen driven outside the dealerships you gotta understand my shock ;D

I don't mean any offense though you know how people can get when you have something they want ;D anyway grats on the ride and maybe i'll see you around....if I do I want a race againt my 12321 pound eclipse hahahah!!
