That's wonder, now who's going to be the first one to contact Richmond gear and get a set made for the front and rear?

That rear end saw 100+ passes on the stock turbo, and only a few on the 35R.

Sorry to hear about it, guys. I was hoping to see the White RS get atleast one good run in on Sunday. The silver Evo ran strong all day.

Matt/ Aaron/ Keith/ whoever,

I got some pics of your cars at the track... if you want them, let me know. Still getting used to my SLR, but most came out pretty good.

100% stock/OE EVO 8 rear differential. You can see the clutch packs in the background aswell. This type of failure seems pretty uncommon.

I was trying out a new suspension setup and I believe I got both rear wheels off the ground from wheel hop. When they came back down and touched the ground the shock was just too much for the ring and pinion. I put another stock differential in to replace it, we'll see what happens. I now have my wheel hop under control as well.

Actually "traded" the silver 03 for the 04 white RS with someone local. We swapped motors between the cars. Basically a chassis switch. He wanted power windows / locks etc. I could care less about those things. It worked out good for both of us and he is a regular customer at the shop.

His car (the silver 03) sees the drag strip frequently and also loaned to us to road race it. It will be appearing at the EVO tuner shootout in the street class. The white car will probably be at NOPI Rockingham that weekend.
