100% stock/OE EVO 8 rear differential. You can see the clutch packs in the background aswell. This type of failure seems pretty uncommon.
I was trying out a new suspension setup and I believe I got both rear wheels off the ground from wheel hop. When they came back down and touched the ground the shock was just too much for the ring and pinion. I put another stock differential in to replace it, we'll see what happens. I now have my wheel hop under control as well.

What ever happened to your silver Evo from last year?
His car (the silver 03) sees the drag strip frequently and also loaned to us to road race it. It will be appearing at the EVO tuner shootout in the street class. The white car will probably be at NOPI Rockingham that weekend.
