Here are some pictures of the destruction I caused to the rear differential on the Pure Tuning white RS on Sunday at the EVO vs WRX Shootout.

Bad wheel hop + Drive shaft shop stage 5 axles = something else has to break.

The ring and pinion in the rear end are destroyed! The spider gears in the diff took some hits too, probably shrapnel from the ring gear. Axles are still like new.

This damage was done with my street tires 275/40/17 Kumho's.

U should call mitsu and see if they will replace it under warranty..... HAHAHAHAHAH

 

I will feel much better when our replacements arrive, or if we broke on our new set up not last years..... We will be back on track this weekend.
