Robispec suspension/tuning weekend marathon pics
Just wanted to share some pictures from last friday which was the first day of a 3 day suspension marathon for Robi (robispec.com)
Robi is very precise-focused-disciplined and honest.
If Robi visits your area I would highly recommend his services.
These pictures were taken in Fort Pierce (Fla) and afterwards he went to Orlando-Sebring-Miami
If anyone else has any pictures form the other days feel free to add them.
Take it easy

While being hesitant about it, and the fact that braking didn't exist all day long, ESPECIALLY in the wet, in many corners, i generated grip nearly equal, and in some times exceeding that of the stock suspension, with 255 ra-1's.
In the rain, it was halarious, a complete exercise in power slide car control, but the car behaved extremely well, and was super predictable.
My lap times were slower, no doubt, but i was braking with less than a G of force, whereas i was regularly braking 1.3+ with the stock suspension and ra-1's.
A great setup, imo.

Robi pulled into Orlando on Sat with 4 hours sleep and worked at least another 10 hours, setting up my car with KW Club's, rear sway, bushings, corner weighting, alignment, etc. He then went on the CharlesJ's Subie for Corner weighting and Alignment (and probably some other stuff as well...don't know as I had to leave ~9:00 pm for the ride back to JAX)
I was very impressed with his attention to detail, and his willingness to share his knowledge and explain why he was doing what he was doing.
The end result is simply a car transformed, I had my first chance to push the car a bit today, and it's tough to even describe how much more predictable and "behaved" the car is. There's really no way to know the limits of this set up on the street, it has to be done on the track.
The beauty of what Robi offers for people like me is an "out of the box" set up that can be adjusted and tweaked in it's own right as one gains more experience.
It's not the "cheapest" way to go, as you're paying not only for the parts and labor, but also the years of experience and testing that Robi has done to be able to apply his expertise to the car.
IMHO, his services are a bargain when you look at the end result.
