Does anyone know the size of the bolts that mate to the stock cat? I'd like to replace mine (and use some anti-sieze) when I install my new CBE, but I'd really like to buy them in advance before pulling the old ones out.

The stock cat has studs I believe, at least it does on the IX but I forget the VIII.

At any rate, youll want to replace the rest of the hardware with some flanged, metric nuts and bolts.

Go to www.nutsandbolts.com and you'll find the best and pretty much ONLY selection of Metric bolts. Even my local Tacoma Screw or High Strength Bolt couldnt get me what I wanted.

Look for Flanged Metric JIS bolts/nuts. You'll want M10 and probaby 40mm for the exhaust so it will look like M10X1.25X40 for 40mm in length. Get the matching lock nuts too! Just FYI the socket on an M10 JIS bolt is 14mm and the socket size on an M8 is 12mm.

I picked up a bunch of 40mm and 50mm length so I would have a few extras. I also picked up some M-8 JIS flanged bolts for use elsewhere, or on the girlfriends Honduh. Was VERY impressed with the service from this place too, I had my hardware within three days of ordering it, I highly recommend them!!
