I live in Oregon so by law we aren't allowed to pump our own gas. They don't seem to have problems putting in the gas. However, not one gas station attendant on earth knows how to put the gas cap in the clip on the fuel door!!!!!!!!!! I always pop the fuel door, then come running out before they can unscrew my gas cap and tell them "I'll get the gas cap." Sometimes I have to grab it out of their hands before they drop it on the paint. Then after I clip it to the fuel door, they are always like "wow I didn't know you could do that!" Yeah, nor did you probably care moron!

I have an '03 and there is DEFINITELY NOT a clip for the fuel cap.

BUT if you are slick, you can hang the little plastic cord over the tab on the backside of the fuel door. I wish I could take a pic for you guys, maybe tomorrow.

WTF.... I didn't know you can clip it like that!!! I always just hung the gascap by wrapping it in between the gas cover and the quater panel area's small crack opening....

Oh, and i did notice the thing about the gas pump nozzle, and i figured the reason is that our car's gas hose that connect to the tank is some what designed like a sink drain pipe. When I had vandals pour in sugar down my gas tank, i noticed all of them got caught on the U bottom part of the pipe, so it never got into the gas tank, it just stayed with in the pipe around the U area.

LOL this thread prompted me to do a bit of searching. There was no write-up in the how-to section, and some other threads stating the wrong way to clip the gas cap (or at least the unintended way). So, here is my how-to in all its glory. All gas-cap related chatter from this thread can be continued here so as to keep this thread on-topic.
