Post pics of Greddy type S or RS installed

i have a greddy type s that is mounted to an upper ICP i bought... can someone post pics of theirs installed, the S or RS will be fine.. both VTA and recirc'd if possible so i can see where everything is suppose to go... im pretty sure i have it right but i want to double check. it didnt come with instructions. I didnt think when VTA the opening was that big. seems odd. i will plan on recircing if i keep it at all... i will probably get the flange cut off and put just a regular flange on it for my APS

yeah, its means do a search dumb*** lol lol lol lol......................your an idiot jdmevo.....

oh, ric, should've asked for assistance and i would've helped. not real hard to figure out, either recirc or vta. why do you need a pic bud? oh, and make sure the vac hose is hooked to the nipple of the greddy to allow it to blow off. i forgot to do that the first time in the srt-4 and could'nt figure out why it wasn't blowin off. lets just say i must've had a blonde moment that day......

Some things are more easily explained with pictures.

On my type S, i was surprised at how big the VTA opening is... i was actually thinking i was missing a part because it is threaded on the inside and it doesnt seem like the valve is sealed very well on the connection to the UICP. I know how to install it, just wanted to verify some other information that wasnt covered in the write ups or pictures on the multiple threads concerning it.

My type S doesn't have any threads for the VTA, just a straight up shot that replaces the stocker unit (with the adapter) So it replaces my stock one exactly. I did not use the single spring mod, in fact, it seemed to loose boost on a pressure test early, and made the squeak almost all the time. I have since put it back to the way it was and have it adjusted fine. Also I did not hook up the bottom nipple.

My threads are on the inside of the opening that would go into the recirc hose... something seems fishy to me... i think it would still work but i have a feeling i dont like this BOV already and i think im going to just get the flange cut off and install another flange for my APS to connect to

well, if you can barely make out anything from your pic, then why post it.... from your pic i can see which of the 2 nipples you connected your vacuum line 2 which i knew already, i can see how far your set screw is backed out for your valve... i just can see if yours is recirc'd or not and if the larger opening is going into the intake... your pic is helpful to me because it answered 2 questions i wanted to make sure of which arent covered in other places.

To me it's recirced and doesn't have that "horn" I've seen.

So, can you unscrew this VTA horn and have enough metal to recirc it? If it's like the one I have, then there is plenty of room.. guess mine never came with that VTA part... Looks exactly how mine is setup, the angle is the same, you'll have a hard time getting into there for a good pic.

Thumbs down Here you go

This is what it'll look like soon after it's been installed and GReddy couldn't care less.

Jason you need to get rid of that piece of crap and just weld a flange for your APS unit. I don't trust that knock off, especially after hearing it.
