Cool video...sad end to a great car...but notice how safe the drivers were in there? Look how structurally tough the cabin was. Cool!

If I was any one of those other racers, I would have been in a way happy that Evo was off the track. Drifting like that is for autocross and rally... NOT on the racetrack with so many other cars. That was just asking for a wreck if you ask me. Lucky for the other driver's he wrecked before his agressive style wrecked them.

I was staring in awe at those drifts. Then BAM!

 

I would guess that it was not drivers error that caused that! It looks like he had the LF tire go down by the way it understeered of the track and then the post wreck video showing that tire off the rim. Sad ending for sure, not a lot left
