I have a friend who runs a business that imports used JDM car parts...mostly for Hondas right now.

I talked to him last weekend regarding getting us parts for our Evo's from JDM Evo VII's.

He said that there are 2 Evo VII's at the parts yard today where he is currently located in Japan....and wanted to know what kinds of parts we would want from the cars.

I listed:

1. Red tail lights
2. JDM Seats
3. Double din center consoles

What else would you all want? List em out...

Are the double din kits made for RS-IIs? If not they won't work with the USDM evos. If they are, I would be interested.

I'm not sure if it'll fit. But it is a cheap part to pull from a smashed Evo I guess. It's worth a try!

The lights I listed above are for me. But other than the beat up and or spray painted ones I've seen on Ebay, they seem to be running $350-400 a set.

But this guy salvages parts from wrecked cars in Japan. So I'm sure if someone orders a set from him, he'll find a pair for ya.

He bought an Evo VII trunklid complete with the spoiler. That'll be an interesting addition to anyones Evo VIII.

I'd be interested in the spoiler uprights, the ECM, front LSD (if it is helix type from non-ACD EVO RS), and of course a titanium turbo.

He did say that both cars still had their JDM recaros intact....and that he was thinking about pulling em to sell stateside.

This feature is available in the 7 GSR and can be activated by a toggle switch in the car.

Alternatively, using the keyless remote, pressing the "lock" button once will lock the car as expected, but a quick press followed by holding it down will cause the mirrors to fold. To unfold the mirrors, just do the same but for the "unlock" button.
