how high do you rev up before moving from a full stop?

how high do you rev up before moving from a full stop?

just curious to see how other ppl are doing this. i hardly rev at all, lol. the car idles at 800-900rpm and i rev to about 1100-1200 rpm when in 1st gear going from a full stop. most of my friends rev up to 2k-ish before they start moving.
i guess i dont gas up more because it kinda became my habit. my parking spot is next to my neighbor's car and when i go home, i would always rev BARELY enough to go in and not stall because i set off his car alarm, lol.

i have a cusco twin disc. with the lighter flywheel i am one of those dudes who slips to ~2k and then engage a bit more slowly/slippily

I'm about 2000, but this is with my accord. Maybe I would be a bit less with the Evo.

As low as posible without bogging or stalling. Reving to 2k to move from a standstill with the stock clutch just means you suck at driving.

I second that.. any other time somewhere around 1000-1200 even on extreme hills if your quick enough you can manage under 2K in an evo..
