I got mine used with almsot no problems for 20K . You got hosed, even though it's a IX MR. It'll be 30K by the time you are done fixing it...and in the end, you still have a salvage title.

He said it was a 9 mr. Still doesn't sound like a good deal, and you always have possibilities of other problems. Good luck.

What's wrong with you guys? All that stuff doesn't cost eighty billion dollars. Used stock parts are cheap. Or he can put all upgraded parts on his car now. It will be like buying a new Evo for under invoice with aftermarket parts. The only downside is the salvage title.

Good Luck!

And the amount of time required to get it "back to normal", and the possiblily that other things are wrong that aren't seen.....

It's definately a project. Have fun

WHy the f#ck would you buy a wrecked evo, especially for 19,000. I paid five more grand and go an unwrecked evo with a clean bill of health.

you should have looked into different auto auctions, you could have came out with a 9 with minimum body damage like fenders/hood to replace for half that price have you heard of Ridesaftely.com check them out and look at the prices and compare.

uhh, i really think its a good deal. i would have bought it.
Front wheels and tires- ($300) there is a guy on ebay selling each on seperatly
Front bumper- its kinda hard to find the evo 9 bumper used but i would say $700
intercololer $150
intercooler piping $75
left headlight $400 pm evo dave, he should have some headlights
left fender $300 there are a couple of people selling them on the forums
radiator ($160) brand new ones from sellers on ebay
front suspension- the MR shocks are going to hard to find, especially for only the front 2. $600

as long as there is no frame damage, your golden. i would say $750 for paint and extra's.
so thats about $3500 in repairs.
