Good price for a used S-AFC?

hey guys,

I've got a bunch of old parts I've been trying to sell, but I can't figure out what to ask for a used but fully functional S-AFC with the full wiring harness.

I was thinking somewhere around $125-$150, but I'm not sure if that's fair. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

I'd start at a $150-$160. You know people will send their offers. If it's a safc-2 I'd start around $175. But I just bought 2 safc 6 buttons and paid $115 and $120. I think that was a steal though.

safc2 used on ebay usually go for around 150. I have not seen a safc in a little while, and with the neo out everyone wants that now. Start high, and be open to offers? good luck.

Actually, with EcuFlash now, no one wants any SAFC, and if they do, they don't know what they're doing...especially if they actually waste the money on a Neo - that's a crying shame.

Yeah your best bet is ebay, you probably will get the most since half those people dont know what they are doing.

Warr,

What do you suggest for someone that wants a flash, but also wants the ability to run a sepperate race gas map?

EcuFlash, of course. You can have as many maps as you want, and when Dynoflash tunes you, he will provide both a base and race gas map for no extra charge - both custom tuned and both belonging to you and able to be flashed within seconds with your own flashing cable ($90), laptop, and EcuFlash software (free).

Yeah, I guess you are right. I am just nervous about the whole "limited number" of flashes even though in reality I know I would probably never hit that number.

Eh, unless you do over 900, you probably shouldn't worry. No one has hit the limit yet.

No, Al has not hit the limit. He did over 900 and still never got locked out, thus my referencing 900 (that's not the limit either, but it's the highest number I've seen).
