David: Glad you were able to make it over to the shop. Look forward to seeing you on Thursday. We close at 5:30 on Thursdays cause of our agreement with the Sumerduck raceway.

Thanks
James

Nice numbers.
wow, id figure ud get 30 whp with the cams and 30 whp and 40-50 wtq with the meth.

it seems that IX's dont respond as well to cams as VIII's do...

I have HKS 280 exhaust cam and a Turbotrix 280 intake cam on my IX.

Turbo Trix said the cam timing was off, because I was losing power at 6000rpms.

I went to dynoflash to get tuned...
Seems like the cams don't respond too well on the IX's and I'm not judging that based from your numbers but from others as well. One guy made like 350whp in a IX with TT's 280 cam set with all the usual bolt on's in the TT forum, doesn't sound like its worth it considering how much they cost...

Very impressive #s! I've seen numbers far shy of yours from VIIIs with much more work! I can't wait to start modding my IX!

Saw your cardomain page as well. Nice touch with the black hood stripe thing. Very cool looking. You've got more gauges than the space shuttle though

I know what you mean about the cost, i wish they produced more power but they don't. On my car that is. my next bunch of mods are fmic, alky, and clutch. then another tune.
