CTSV's 0-60 in 4.6 --- should I be concerned?

The aforementioned "muscle cars" are very heavy (remember F=ma ???) and also have no traction (on street tires). I have destroyed Cobra's over and over again in a stock Evo.
the whole "muscle cars are very heavy" is true only to an extent, they are not 4000 pounders, my SS was 3600 lbs with me in it, spare, jack, and a full tank of gas.
id like you to see u destroy a 03 cobra at the track from a dig in a stock EVO, in the 1/4 mile.

It takes way more skill to launch a RWD car, and if they screw it up the guy in the AWD car is going to take him.
stock for stock, a 01 + ss camaro, or T/A ws-6 (the ones with the z06 intake manifold, z06 clutch, and slave cylinder and different cam than pre 01 ls1's, aluminum driveshaft) will take a stock evo 8 or 9 when drivers are equal.
u must have raced people who couldnt drive worth a **** and in older ls1's. the 01/02's were like the IX's of the evo world, factory freaks, easily putting 310-330 RWHP down in factory trim and were grossly underrated. im not a domestic nutswinger, i appreciate all fast cars and call it like it is.
if u think 03 cobras are slow, i dont know what to say u are just truly extremely biased towards your own car and wont give props to another fast car.

Same thing for the LSs, Camaro, F Bird, GTO.......On the other hand, it isn't uncommon for stock EVOs (05s and 06s) to run 12s.
a 99 camaro ss went 12.9 in the 1/4 and that is before the improvements with z06 parts from the LS6 in the 01+ models. this was in MMFF (muscle mustangs and fast fords)
never seen a 03 cobra run 12's out of the box? go to the mustang boards and lurk for a bit, u will be in for a suprise, stop quoting what u read in magazines.
These posts are funny. Go read modularfords.com, svtperformance.com, ls1tech.com, and look at what people get out of stock Ls1's and Cobras. Even more impressive is look what they run with 5K in them.
Venomous aka John ran a 10.1@141mph with 5K in a cobra. Go read up and it's plain as day.

I rarely see the back of mullets from V8 Maro and Stang drivers. Granted with a Visnu'd IX MR launching at 6k is enough to school practically anything short of a 911 Turbo.
8/10 Cobras blow the launch and run high 13's. Too much power is the case, hell even some mags are getting 12.9 with the new 500hp Shelby. While capable of high 11's it does not mean $hit unless its hooks up.
Im an ex Cobra owner FWIW.

Don't you guys know by now that there are fanbois in here that think there car is god. Just don't even bother. Whoever thinks cobra's are slow, boy are they in for a suprise, just wait until they run into one on the streets (same goes for cts-v, LS1 camaro etc.). Sometimes you just got to ignore the ignorant ones.
