i have one in my car
but my car is aus spec, closest to jdm so im nto sure if its the same

I ahve the same problem with my Evo IX with the AVC-R except i got the speed to work however my throttle and RPM i couldnt figure what wire to hook it up to...i gotta get to school ill post what wire i hooked the speed to to help u out a lil...if ucould hit me back with the rpm wire # that would be great.

from tinkering around this is what i came up with for wiring, if this is how you have it hooked up then the unit may possibly be defective or i'm just retarded. who knows. i hooked mine up wrong on my honda because i was looking at the ecu backwards from how the manual said. but the avcr just showed blinking lights and didn't work till i re-wired it. hope this helps




EDIT: the colors i listed are the ecu wire colors, NOT the avcr harness wires

i have the avcr just waiting for some more funds to pick up a boomslang harness, i don't wanna hack into the stock wires.
