I have an 06 RS with 3300miles hahaha.....and it needs a clutch. I may have drag raced it once or twice.

 

so you went from 157k on your post yesterday to 170 in one day. that 13000 mile in a day where the hell did you go?

I'd say that's the highest mileage USDM evo i've herd about.

 

I know there is a guy on the dcevo club that hit 170k in April. I wonder what he is up to now

 

RedCloud is Deeze Nuts(sp?) on DcEvoClub. So it is the same guy

 

03 black evo his name is paul yohann 99892 came in for service about 3 months ago. he says it had stock clutch. well we ended up replacing it turns out it was a stock clutch

 

definately not me i only have 69k on my 03.

That's me! I'm at 177K now! Still no issues other than the fact that I need a new EGR valve! $95 at

 

wow 177k and you never changed the tranny or tcase??

05 has 25000

 

read his signature... he has a shep tranny.. but still wow... either way.. with that many mods and miles.. wow..

 

The T Case went out just over 100K I replaced it with a new one before I knew about Shep. The Syncros went bad twice under warranty and were fixed by Mitsu. The third time I called John Shepard and he told me that as long as I kept the stock clutch they would keep going bad. I poped in a Exedy twin HD and the Shep built tranny and it's been heaven ever since! That clutch/tranny combo it just awesome!!!!
