If you buy the RX it would behuve you to build the engine. Even with low mileage for something that old I'm willing to bet that a lot of the seals are brittle. I'd replace the apex seals with 3mm units and port/polish the intake and exhust ports. You can build a very reliable rotary as long as you focus on cooling.

I almost bought an RX-7 "spirit R", but somehow ended up with an evo. Just love them RX-7s! If it is your only car, get the Evo IX, undoubtedly. Otherwise, I would get an RX-7. They are reliable, but you need to take care of them.

If you buy the low-mileage 7, don't mod it. Keep it as is. I daily drove mine for years without any issues but it'd be a shame to modify a low mileage stock example. Prices are now starting to go up on the 7's too. It's a future collectible, no doubt about it.

I'm gonna suggest you going with the Rx-7. That thing only has 5500 miles on it and is 13 years old. There'll always be Evo's around but not a Rx-7 with such low milage.

I also have a RED 93 RX7 FS w/ lots of upgrades includes, greddy FMIC, hard IC pipes, koyo racing radiator, 3" downpipe and catback, apex'i intakes, Scoop CF hood, profec B boost control, HKS SSBOV, TEIN suspension kit... 66k original motor $17k
way cheaper than that one on top.

Let me know if anyone in here want it.

their totally two types of car. i bought the evo because I wanted the extra room, but if you're travelling with just a friend most of the time then who cares about the space. Plus if you're into drifting then its the RX7.

Buy the Supra.. and a POS old truck

Plus as long as you dont go insane with the mileage or blow it up you can sell it for the same amount you paid for it in a couple years. Those cars barely depreciate

well how much is this guy selling the rsx-7 with 5500 miles on it? i mean **** thats a creampuff. you barely find a stock 3rd gen with low miles on it. id check it out. but as everyone said before it WILL not be a good car for winter. and by the way the guy trying to advertise his black rx-7 in coral springs i believe i seen it around . you know now that i read this thread a lil better. you might as well go with the evo 9. its a new car and you know it wont have any problems. as for a used car, i mean i see it has low miles but its bound to have problems i mean its a 13 yr old car.
