Unfair ticket in MA
Unfair ticket in MA
I got a speeding ticket for going 90 in a 65 in MA. I need to go to court in a few days to defend myself. I was not going 90 by an stretch of the imagination. The officer said he heard my car come screaming down the highway. He then started asking me if it was modded without mentioning speeding. He then gave me a ticket that says that he observed the speed on lidar. Is this possible if he was not even in his vehicle? Anyone have any suggestions on how to fight this??
laser guns are portable. you are screwed. just bend over and grab your ankles. I did a weeks worth of prepping and went to fight my 95 in a 55 (lidar) and even though I had a fantastic case I was found guilty.
Regardless of what you come up with, 90mph is too fast to be let off, especially with how much more accurate lidar is than radar.

in MA they do whatever the F they want. MA cops suck ****. I've been pulled over for exactly 71 in a 65 there. Also been pulled over for 58 in a 45 with 4 people in front of me when if i had been doing 58 i'd have plowed into them. it was the only time in my life i've ever yelled at a cop and called him a liar. I do my fair share of speeding and i treat cops with respect, and i know when i'm in the wrong and in the right and this dude was just a f'n liar.
the only police dpt i can say isn't a bunch of a$$ fker's is granby police dept in western MA.
/anger towards MA cops

from what i learned and i have a court appearance too in a couple of weeks in MA for doing 50 in a 30. everytime they catch you on lidar or radar a reciept is printed out and when you go to court you can say that you requested a reciept that you were going 90 and they won't have anything to prove that you were going 90. My friend taught me this, he is taking criminal law. So that cvould be a good reason thats what imma be using and see what happens

The @sshole judge didn't want to hear it and found me guilty of a $400 ticket
i recently got pulled over for doing 30 in 25mph. what bugs me the most about that is when he took my license and registration he said i was doing one speed but then changed it to another. even the ticket he gave me said something different from what he told me.
this was in Park Ridge NJ by the way.
by the way, MA cops does suck, especially the Belmont ones. they harrass me all the time when i'm in my Evo. even when other cars are passing me, they always have a reason to pull me over. they never give me a ticket but just my time wasted and the inconvienent it causes me. BASTARDS

I got pulled over in a Ford Freestyle one time. Was traveling about 55 mph in HEAVY traffic home from work (50 zone). Cop told me I was going 80 mph. Even though Ford Freestyle's don't do 80 mph, I paid the ticket which he reduced to $80 and went on my way. It was out of state and most of the time you can't do shti anyway. Of the 3 boxes he was able to check (radar, lazer, clocked) he chose 'clocked'.
I was only in a Freestyle because it was a dealer rental during Evo blown engine down time. Not to worry ladies.

exercise your judgement in fighting tickets - the ones where you flagrantly broke the law - just pay the fine.
