i've calibrated a lot of cars evos with revolver cams and stock turbo with stock ecu's and without... they will idle fine, drive around fine and make more torque/power/response than any other cam combination that i have seen.

best thing to do is see if there is someone in your area who is running them and get a ride and ask their opinion.

would the revolvers or the JUNs be a better choice for my car, 2.3, ported head with upgraded springs and retainers, 20g9 (soon to be 3065). im also running aem ems with all supporting mods in speed density. which would be the best choice for me, and would i have to use the supplied springs and retainers or could i use mine?

i know i talked to crower and they said their springs and retainers would handle 11.5 mm of lift no problem, so i'd say your upgraded springs would be fine.
