IC IC. Well I was looking into the RNR exhaust and read through their 30+ page thread and didn't see much negative feedback. I may be new to evos, but I spend a ton of time doing research

And yeah, save your money and dont get the ecutek license.

I said RNR itself, not just the cheap exhaust. The exhaust is just the same thing that everyone else sells and puts their name on it (Megan, LPI, Authority, etc). The one IX in the DcEvoClub who got it was all pissed off, because it did not fit, though.

Well I have read in the past 6 months that RNR has improved. But in the 2 years that I've been a member here I have read A LOT of bad threads on them. If you search enough then you'll see plenty of negative stuff on them. I don't know, maybe they have worked out all their issues.

Megan and tune from TTP would be a far better way to spend $1200 than just an AMS TBE, imo, but hopefully that will be a TechTom flash instead of EcuTek so he has money left for mbc, fuel pump, and bov.
Thanks Clayton...

Ah, yes Polk County. I am from Lakeland, so I assume you probably bought your car from Cannon Mitsu . Send me a PM and we will take care of you whether you want 300whp or 600whp.

Go with Buschur

For bang for the buck, go for Buschur's Stage 1

With a 9 why would you not just start out with a boost controller, boost gauge, flash turbo back?

That would be a pretty decent car right there. I know AMS is making awesome power on the 9's with there flashes.

You would have to hear an AMS car with their full turbo back to see if you will like it. It is louder than most exhaust systems out there but it sounds really really nice.

You won't see me tell people not to go to Vishnu, AMS, TurboTrix, etc., because they are great Evo vendors unlike RNR, in my opinion.

The guys above who said to avoid my package are just doing it out of spite - there is nothing to avoid in my package. It's a perfect combo of mods whether you get those brand names or not.
You recently signon on with a vendor to sell theri items, for gods sake, you even have the exact pkages your selling in your signature, you are more than biased when it comes to vendor selection. And when you were running the megan, you just had a few connections for some vendors, you wern't at that time co-op ing to sell thier upgrade packages. I have yet to see RNR have exhuast problems, yet i remember reading so much about buschur's slip fits leaking, poor fitment, and poor packing. You are free to express your opinions on here but do not spew any unfounded bashing on a vendor's item unless you have threads showing that it is in fact a truely bad product, true that RNR may have some sub par products but thier exhausts have been fine.

You bring up interesting points, but I think you've taken it a bit too far. Yes, Warr shows his vendors in his sign ons, but I have never really seen him show a bias. He usually tells it like it is.

You also bing up a good point on the bushur TBE. Overall it's a good product, but it has had some issues with the slip fits.

Bottom Line, Warr is correct...I've heard more stuff about rnr than many other vendors. It's worth mentioning to this guy.

No one can be unbiased, no one, you have have minimal bias or a sh*t load, it's a matter of where you stand on the subject, Wartalon, stands to gain profits from redirecting people from RNR to some other vendor, he may not be saying get my **** but he is deff not saying get RNR's stuff, he stands to have a better chance for a sale when he bashes a competing vendor.

Warrtalon, I havn't read any bad reviews on RNR. Yes, you may not techincally be a vendor, but its obvious you have your preferences and are not 100% objective on the matter
Who is objective here? That's right, no one.

I hear ya on someone in the "role" that Warr is playing. I agree he may be in some arrangement where is compensated. Having said all that, he handles himself with good ethics and a reasonable lack of bias. We all have bias on this web site. You, me...everybody. My point is that he has never whored himself out and jumped to every thread out there saying buy my set up. Yes he advertises in his sig, but how is that that much different that having a sticker on your car? He isn't just a megaphone for his vendors. Yes, sometimes he goes into a little nascar speak and drops the names of his vendors, but I've never seen him blindly push his vendors stuff. So, I guess its buyer beware of his comments, but it's pretty clear he is sponsored by looking at his sig and its pretty clear he knows his EVO stuff by his posts & accomplishments.
