Pictures are to dark to tell anything...and you will need an insurance ajuster to know if it totaled for sure.

If both airbags deployed they are on the way to totaling the car. This past October I was in a wreck -- mine was on the driver side though. They tranny, turbo, TC all were destroyed. Frame of the car was twisted, air bags deployed, IC Piping, inter cooler, radiator, paint, seat belts...etc etc. It was a very long list of parts that needed to be replaced -- the car was eventually totaled -- something like 27K to repair everything - just insane!

Get some pictured with a real camera during the day. It is impossible to tell anything from those pics.

That sounds all to familiar. Someone pulled out in front of me a couple of weeks ago and I hit them on the passeger side and his insurance company is currently totaling my car as it had ~$26,000*in damages. It is hard to tell from the dark pics.

Highly Possible!

The good ole "That will buff right out" comment. Every crash thread wouldn't be complete without it and it still makes me smile

Looks like it could be a total loss. Pictures are dark and hard to tell but it doesn't look good from what I can see.

accident

I've been in a hit a run ...and it sucks I feel your pain. Honestly, I don't think there is enough damage to call it totaled. It'll depend if the frame is bent.

I've also been in a accident where I had accumulated $13,000 in damage and they still didn't total mine..lots of underlying damage amazing how it adds up!

sorry....I'm not trying to steal your thread just showin for comparison.

Just to compare, here is my car from a couple of weeks ago:

Your damage appears similar and mine was totaled. Both airbags went off and my frame rail on the passenger side took a hit. In the end the bodyshop said the damage was not bad but the parts were very expensive to fix it(headlight, hood, fender, ic, oil cooler, airbags, radiator, etc).
