Another wing surviving an accident.......Are there any damage to the engine bay and stuff or is the mostly cosmetic such as hood and bumper, etc.

I think it has to be more than 75% of what the car is worth before the car is totalled out. That's just what I've been told and heard.

It's hard to say if the car will be totalled or not. The front end of the EVO is probably the most expensive part of the car and there could be alot of damage that can't be senn til the car is taken apart.

Good luck.....sucks though.

I think its 50% damage to total, but really the second the frame rails get bent most of the time they will total the car. Bending frames back to stock tolerances is expensive and the car really will never be the same.

Hard to tell from the pic if it will be totalled. You really won't know until they take it apart and see what needs to be replaced.

Yeah your right its 75%....I thought it was less when I had damage done to my car but, you have to realllly get hit! The headlamps were the most expensive when I replaced my front, and the included the radiator the IC, the Supports...I was shocked that headlamp beat all that out. they were like $1,200.00. don't forget that close to 1,200 dollar front bumper.

Your damage appears similar and mine was totaled. Both airbags went off and my frame rail on the passenger side took a hit. In the end the bodyshop said the damage was not bad but the parts were very expensive to fix it(headlight, hood, fender, ic, oil cooler, airbags, radiator, etc).
jeez, buy that sucker back, i'll take some parts, those calipers are new and unused

I wish someone with a car that took a pass side hit would buy their car back and sell me some driver side doors!

In, Tucson its so common cause were only 60 miles from the border to mexico....so those who "choose" not to have coverage "pull the hit" and run move all the time....its sad...insurance is high in AZ.

Air bags alone are $2000.00 to find and re-install.

From the damage i dont think it will be totaled. Ive seen alot worst in my cousin's evo and his was not totaled....He needed new rear everything. and two new front and back right side doors and alot of suspension parts. Can you believe the evo viii enkeis are 675 a rim.....thats just insane...you can buy some nicer rims for that kind of money. Also the stock exhaust system was somwhere in the 600 range.
