Leasing an evo?

I was looking around on the mitsu website. Is it even possible to lease one of these cars? Also, is leasing generally a little cheaper than buying?

Thanks,
Chris

I dont think Mitsubishi is leasing Evo's but you may find a private leasing company that will. I wouldn't think you would save a lot though and these private leasing companys want the cars back looking like they were never driven.

Payments for leasing are cheaper than buying if the car has a good residual value at the end of the term. However this is not the best car for that. When I looked into it, the best payments I found for a lease and a 60 month loan were too close to make it worth leasing.

Really? I've tried and I actually could have. I don't remember though if it was exactly through Mitsu though, the dealer didn't mention the leasing company. However, the difference between leasing and purchasing was about, like 20 to 50 bucks. Soooo, guess what I ended up doing?

I leased mine! Got it new in 2003. Had it for 6 months, and decided to buy it. (had to repair a nick on my credit first! Maybe they don't now, but they did mine "back in the day"
