Need help shifter bushing install.

I am trying to install the interior shifter bushings for the bottom of the shifter plate. I have gotten all of the bolt off and now I am to the stock rubber ones. How do I get those out, no matter how hard I pull they just dont seem to wanna come out. Is there an easy way to get them out without having to remove the plate from the car. Sorry such a newb question..

That's exactly the site I used to do mine. Good mod for the money. Hopefully you got the underhood bushings as well.

It has been awhile since I changed mine out, but if I remember corectly I had to grab the the bushing with a needle nose and pinch it down real hard and then kinda spun the pliers in my hand like a screw driver. That basicaly "screwed" the bushing out. hope that helps

make sure to remove the metal piece in the center, try pushing the rubber down while lifting the shifter cage slightly, use a screwdriver to shove it through.

i just did this mod hours ago, hardest part for me was inserting the Kartboy bushings, which is bigger than the hole, had a heck of a time getting them all in.

also done WORKS shifter and Kartboy underhood bushings. great mods
