Ecuflash is free engine management. Alot of the guys are going to it. You can still get a flash from Al. (Dynoflash). So I would def. Recommend Both. No matter what it would be the same price. If you download ecuflash and buy a taxtrics cable. You can yourself do simple adjustments. Rev Limiter, Lauch Rev limiter. It seems to be pretty easy to do. ONLY making slight adjustments with a wideband and datalogger.

Nothing in terms of tuning. With Vishnu, you're paying extra for the EcuTek license, which doesn't do you much good. The difference in price is either $550 or $350 depending on if you get a mail-in or custom tune from Dynoflash.

So the gains are pretty much the same.

I am just looking for a good upgrade path and really can't do that much research within the time frame I need.

hey since you are in GA i know for a fact that shiv is coming to calhoun ga to custom tune some evos. it will be around sept of this year. if you go with vishnu then i would sign up for that. just keep an eye out in the vishnu forums.....and by the way it will be held at dyno4mance just north of atlanta.

yes, i know the place. I was actually there about 2 weeks ago with my srt4 tuning my ems and big turbo. Basically, it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Highway killer and thats it. On normal street it was useless (no traction)

So i'm selling and buying an evo within the next 2 weeks.

Andrew and them are cool people.

Thanks for the info. I just didn't know the performance value of the two other than one cost WAY more than the other.

You don't need to do much research - just click the link in my sig to get you started. There is no difference in performance between the Vishnu EcuTek and a Dynoflash - one just costs way more due to the EcuTek license.

The Vishnu Xflash for the IX claims to give you a 100 hp gain from stock. I don't know if this is true or even posible. They probably got this number by estimating crank hp after their flash then subtracting mitsu's official hp numbers which are known to be under rated.
