Hi all-

Haven't posted here much but have been around for a while. I rally an Evo in the Rally America national Championship and by virtue of our performance at maine Forest Rally last weekend we've been invited to be one of the 12 teams to compete at the X Games in the rally division next week. We are the only Mitsu. There are 9 Subes, a Ford, and a Hyundai. We qualified by a margin of three seconds, driving at one point seven miles with the hood flipped over backwards, then the rest of the rally, winning stages, with a shattered windshield. See

X Games begins next week in Los Angeles and we need sponsorship. We can offer a lot of coverage - a million live viewers, 134 countries, 6 languages, etc. for surprisingly little money. There are only 12 rally cars, and Colin McRae is in a Subaru....

Any thoughts as to companies and, especially, contacts at those companies who can make a quick corporate decision, would be appreciated.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i do believe WORKS is all about Rally. Contact them, they have a section on here.

 

I would contact works as well as roadraceengineering.com, vishnutuning.com and you might even try Gruppe-s.com.

All these companies are local to CA, with road race engineering located in the la area.

Red Bull sounds like a sure thing though, you can go straight to the source. You have to give me some stuff if you get the sponsorship though, just whatever free junk they give you save some for me .

 

X games has rally now?!?!?!? Wow! I have been out of the scene too long I guess, and I actually thought I'd make it there some day for BMX, hahaha!

Good luck, it would be really nice to see an Evo in the X-Games, I mean even Millen is driving a Subaru. Jeesh.

good luck I hope that you get the sponsors. don't listen to that guy about you trying to get money. If he was in the same situation I bet he'd be doing the same thing. At least you are representing the evo for what it was born to do. I will be out in san diego for vacation from the 28th of july til august 6th. I hope to check out some of the xgame action while im out there. It just sucks that I can't see the rally race due to me being @ a concert that day. TO boot its my bday so make me and kick some subi ***. Hopefully I can at least see you guys practice live.
