100 Octane in SoCal

I went to SEMA IAS yesterday and Unocal 76 was advertising their new "Cool Blue 100" gas that is sold at certain stations in CA. I called around and the average price for it is around 4.00 - 4.50 per gallon.

I scanned the pages of the locations. Check it out:

I know the speedway here in Ohio also has race gas for about the same price. It has been around for a long time over here.

So is there a way to mix 110 Oct. with a lower Octane to get to 93 octane since the closest place for me only has 100-114. Is it safe??

u can always mix octanes... thats how they make lower octanes... you can mix any unleaded fuel with unleaded, if 110 is leaded then you really don't want to mix that or run it in your car....

There's a Sunoco by me in Nashua, New Hampshire (exit 6) that has street legal 100 Octane usually around $4.25 a gallon. I haven't tried it yet, being winter, I really don't see the point, but then again, 93-94 is average premium octane in this area.

in ohio for $30 ish you can get 5 gallons of 109 octane unleaded....not to shabby ....don't have to worry about my wideband o2 or factory o2s getting f'd up with the leaded race fuel.

Where in Ohio can you get that high octane. I live in Cincinnati and would love to get my hands on it.
