Not to say that the front end of a 2003 evo isn't nice looking, but the '06 MR and IX GT really caught my eye. Does anyone know how much the hood, front end, fenders, and paint would cost and if it's worth it?

 

You have a 2003 evo?

If so, all you need is a front bumper and headlights if you want those.

 

I believe you just mean you like the IX Front over the VIII front, The fender / hood is same, only thing that changed are the headlights and Front Bumper.

I'm not sure if they come pre painted like the JDM IX Rear or if you have to paint it yourself.

If you get that bumper and want all the new grills and supports (most if not all are different than the VIII) be prepared to spend some serious money. The bumper is $800 then all the misc. parts, grills and supports end up at another $650 - $800. It will be at least a $1500 job (even if you do all the work yourself).

I can look up the exact amount as I still have the receipts if you're curious.

 

I believe the bumper bar (crash bar) is different from the VIII to the IX. It's what I was told when inquiring....

 

It is different, but not necessary to purchase. Those 2 small vent in the middle of the bumper are wider in the IX than the VIII (or vice versa), but its barely noticeable (then again, my car is Black). On another color, it might look "off".
