Soft or Hard Spring for Forge UNOS MBC
Hey guys i drive an ix and i have the warrtalon package on my car. Before i was tuned i had the soft spring in and i turned it all the way up cuz i hear the soft spring should not go past 22 psi...so i was like o thats no biggie but when i was driving it and doing a few pulls it was going all the way up to like 25 PSI (should it be doing this???)...i turned it down and until now I was running 21 PSI untuned.. well now that my ECU is on its way to AL to get flashed for the package and its components i was wondering do i need to put the hard spring back in since my soft spring is apparently good enough to hold 23 psi consistently???
P.S.- My few modds are in my sig...

Hmm, it's too bad you read that and immediately turn it to max. NO matter what you read or what you think, you should ALWAYS START AT MINIMUM, then turn it up gradually to be sure. There are multiple versions of the UNOS - one where the soft spring maxes at 19psi, and another where it maxes at 25 or so. You should never randomly turn your MBC to max before testing the boost.
Put in the soft spring and gradually turn up the boost. As it starts to climb, make incremental adjustments, not huge ones. When you get to the desired boost level, leave it there. If it doesn't get to the desired boost level, th en put in the stiff spring.
