Cigarette Lighter broken..

Hey all,

I just noticed that my cigarette lighter is not working. Anyone know what part I need to replace or how to fix it? Any info would be very helpful. Thanks.

When I push my lighter in, it pops back out. It just won't stay in. If you want it to get hot, you have to hold it in. Don't know if that's your problem, but it's like that with my EVO.

If it's not the fuse, it may be just the connector underneath. Remove the shift knob, pop up the shifter surround panel (do a search to see how) and check; I bet the connector is loose.

Get the direct wire kit, and run it behind the A-Pillar. Trim the metal lead, and install it in the fuse panel. No more dangling cords!

^ Where can I get this Wire Kit?? I would love to have it installed without the messy wires!

Also, I've tried holding the lighter in for a few seconds, it does not get hot.
