Just got my GSC cams and please take a look.. (pics)

the lopes(?) are not really even... is this ok? should i install them?
this kinda concerns me...

Ohh OOO those are bad, the Lobes on the cams soupose to be perfect, i say send them back , and go buy from a differnt company. The safer the better dont be to eager

They don't have a real high quality look to them. But I bet they would work just fine. Look at your stock cams, you can see the wear marks from the rockers in them. Theres a good 1/8" of lobe left on each side that dosn't touch the rocker. The rough dges on your new cam would be well in the no contact area. If you put them in just turn them over by hand first and make sure.

well i think it will work fine but i'm just worring about the "sharp corner" coming off after a while of use.. and if that little piece remains in the engine... i'll call GSC and see what they think... anyone has similar problem?

I think it should be fine since its not in the contact path, but I would probably take a file to it just to be safe
