Throwing a code but SES light gone?
I have had a P0403 error for a couple months now which meant there was a malfunction in the EGR system. The check engine light suddenly went away yesterday after it was on for two months. I know the bulb still works because when I put key in second position it does light up for a few seconds. When I scanned the car, the code was still there. Does the light go off after the the code has been stored for a while?
