instead of hoping why not use the search function first sigh. i dont see why the sti isnt on the list since owners have had to pay more for them

Just like I did. I was getting ready to post it and found it in a search. The article does **** me off. But I guess what do you expect when you of all of the stupid wrecks people are getting in with evos.

my evo ix is 200 more every 6 months...compared to my frickin c6 corvette...i think thats a little nuts considering the vette is faster stock (but i guess less kids get into the vette over evo...thanks kids for making my insurance rates go up )

I use Mercury Insurance and my EVO 8's insurance is pretty cheap. It's about the same as my old automatic 91 Acura Integra GS.

Might be the only good thing about getting older.

Yeah its kinda sad when I'm going from an evo to zo6 and my insurance goes down significantly! Haha lucky me.

this isn't surprising news. the EVO is popular right now & is not too far away from the avg car buyer pricewise. u wanna see high insurance rates?? wait till the Skyline gets here. pretty much ALL forced induction vehicles & coupes with 250HP (stock) or above have high ins rates.

we were looking into getting a supercharged Range Rover & state farm told my wife that it would be $400/month just to cover her!!!!! she has NEVER had a ticket of any kind...
