I used 2 of these in my 400+ hp 76 Vette. Worked great.

Yes it will work for the Evo. When installed close to the turbo it will act like a TBE on a stock system. If you already have a TBE, then the gains maybe not as great v. a stock exhaust.

Search around too. There is a cut out that is boost operated. So when you go into boost it opens.

So this is an alternative to a TBE?

 

This maybe a alternative to a turboback. But from what i read these will set off knock sensors and casue your ecu to pull timing making your car slower.
