I doubt it. If you can't tell that is all carbon fiber and it cost them something like $100,000 to build that body.

That car was wrecked, so it wasnt sold. If it was, it wasnt from HKS. They used the same mold for the current version the CT230R. If someone bought that kit, it hasnt been in use.

cmon honda boy... a person that would buy a $15,000 kit , would actually use it for a few purposes... a dedicated track car, or a trailer queen, regardless of how that person did decide to use this kit, it is nowhere near rice...

Well it makes sense that they had a spare. I dont know why they didnt keep it since they recommisioned TRB-02 as CT230R. Oh well. Do you have any links to the current owner?

The original was wrecked in a Tsukuba Time Attack. The monster was rebuilt as you can see in the current issue or last months issue of Sport Compact Car. There was a kit like it from HKS sold by A-Spec, it sold for $15,000 if I'm not mistaken. At half the price of a new Evolution 9, this is not for your average auto X-er.

lookslikeanevo is right, there was a post here awhile back selling that HKS EVO widebody kit. I believe that they said that the kit is from HKS. They made two for some reason (probably incase it got into an accident). He didn't go into details on how they got ahold on the kit. But the kit was on sale on here.

Yeah, that's where I read it. I read it when I first join the forum so memory of it was blur.

Maybe we should start a thread asking who bought the kit, and ask for an update? What do you guys think?

IMO it's ugly for anything other then a purpose built time attack car. If I saw that thing coming down the street I would laugh.
