It has nothing to do with the sunroof.

It can happen to cars without a sunroof. I bet some of the aluminum roof guys have it.

Are you opening this roof in cold weather? Metal contracts at a faster rate than glass does when its cold. So when you goto open it, it will bend the metal quite a bit. So be a warranty issue though.

Meaning that if that's what caused the dents your warranty should cover it.

Yea ill probably give it a shot next time I'm at the dealer, but if they don't even warranty things that they should, i don't see how they are going to warranty the roof. They would be able to come up with so many different reasons Acorns, Squirrels, bird droppings, anything!

I just noticed this the other day. I have a fairly large dent on the pass side front. I first I thought something fell on the roof when it was parked. I also have smaller dents on the driver's front and rear that look like stress marks. Well that's it, I'm getting the AMS carbon fibre roof Speaking of that...how do feel about the longevity of the AMS roof in terms of leak-free use?

as long as its sealed correctly I dont see any issues occuring but Im no expert, try talking to AMS about it...

I had the same problem, But someone jumped on my roof..yea i know.. My sun roof didnt go back because the roof would catch it... What i did was take my head liner out, remove the run roof and push up with my hands easy.. But first make sure the sunroof boarder/edge is even.. then go ahead and push up easy with your hands untill its straight again
