Bad Week for Evos

As I was reading the treads I noticed that Two other Evos got in to accidents this weekend. My Evo also suffered a tragic accident. As I was driving on the track I came out of a corner at around 80 and my right side tires caught some dirt, as my evo started to slide I counter steered and modulated the gas to try to recover. how ever the track was two narrow for me to recover so I chose to aim for a spot in the grass to slow down and stop. however as I entered the grass the my right side tires poped and then got sunk in the to soft grass. my evo then proceded to flip and after one and a half turns and being air-born for a split second. I was hanging upside down with my instructor telling me to get out of the car. My instructor told me that I did every thing right is just that some how the stars lined up for me on that day. If any one knows if this could be fixed please let me know. If you work at a shop or know of a good shop and would like to extened a helping hand please Pm me. I tried to post pic of my car but I dont have a website were I can post on. If you work at a shop pm me and I will send you pics of my Evo

Sorry to hear about that bro. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if it flipped then its more than likely totalled. Some cases arent that bad and i pray that in your case it can be saved! Good luck!

I priced mine at the dealer and it wasnt too bad, 400 for roof, 350 for trunk, quarters about 450 each. Hood was cheaper going cf. I was surprised

damn glad to hear your ok. you did everything in your power to keep her alive.

from what ive seen evos are very repairable. look around at collision centers near you. there has to be a good shop somewhere.

how is the rest of the car. engine bay wise and frame.

well the roof and the front and rear pilars are bent. the doors on the passenger side are dented but still open and close (if you open the rear door first) the oil cooler seems to be broken or disconnected. but the engine bay looks okay. and i looked under it briefly and did not see any broken suspension links or bent rods.

Will insurance cover the damages if you wreck your car racing? I haven't got into racing yet, but I think it's something I would look into when I do.
