Hey guys, I just got my alignment 2 days ago and ever since then my car has been making a rubbing noise in the rear right tire. I took the tire off to see if anything was stuck but everything seems perfectly fine. I can't seem to figure it out. When I accelerate, it doesn't make the noise until I get to about 40 and then when I slow down to about 20 the noise goes away. Any help would be appreciated.

Alright thank you very much. I will figure this out tomorrow morning and post to see what I have found out. I am still stock and have warranty, the dealership should cover this correct?
Well, prolly not. Cause its a wearable item. Just like brakes... they dont cover that either. Now if it was a axle or anything else. they would. Who knows they may cover it but i highly doubt it. The bearings you can find online that are OEM bearings for around $180.00 Still about $50.00 cheaper than my local dealer wanted one for.

Keep in mind... YOU MAY NOT SEE ANY MOVEMENT BUT YOU SHOULD FEEL IT. ITS A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE SOMEONE LOOK BEHIND THE WHEEL AT WHERE THE AXLE GOES INTO THE HUB/BEARING ASSEMBLY TO HAVE THEM WATCH FOR ANY MOVEMENT. AS YOU TRY MOVING THE WHEEL.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Well to be honest its prolly just started going bad. But if you can see and or feel quite a bit of movement then i would not push your luck. Get it replaced a.s.a.p. I drove on mine for about 200 miles after i noticed some noise coming from it. But then again i didnt have much noticeable play out of it. Just had the beginning noise. At all cost... DO NOT drive it at higher speeds like 55 + MPH cause it will just get a lot worse real fast. And you dont want it to come apart. At higher speeds its obviously moving faster and it is under more stress and it will heat up and can come apart.
I dont suggest it. Its not worth the risk... Just take my word. It may not be your bearing. But if it is your just going to cost yourself a lot more money and risking your life. If a wheel bearing comes apart at highway speeds then it wont be pretty. The noise you hear does it go away when you let off the gas or when your turn left and right?
