SW 30-25 boost gauge

just got my gauge in the mail, but had a question. they gauge isnt even hooked up and it's reading 3 hg? is the gauge broken or will it re-set itslef when i hook it up? and the hose that goes into the plastic adaptor on the back of the gauge leaks when i blow air in though the other side of the hose. i pushed that hose all the way in too. any idea's?

thanks

Well since it's a mechanical gauge I would send it back. It will not correct itself.

Yeah its broken, 99% most likely from shipping. send it back and they will send you a new one. I had that problem when I ordered my DEfi. However, I now have SW.

wow, i never looked at prices for them....pretty inexpensive. i think my defi could be a lil brighter in direct light. i guess tinting the windows could help that. was a lil pricey though for the whole deal

I had the Defi-D then after getting retuned, I found out the gauge was reading incredibly innaccurately, and others have found this out to. I switched to SW and havent looked back. I love the look of them and they are dead accurate and inexpensive.

Not bright enough? Mine is more than enough!?

maybe my wiring is f*d up, or the bulb itself. b/c the outer rim of the gauge is bright, but the inner part of the guage is dim..

Its possible. Mine is more than adequately bright enough at night. What color bulb do you have? I have the red which matches the stock gauges perfect.

i can read it just fine...but when the moonroof is open in the right sunlight its washed out a bit...absolutely love it though! and the control unit is awesome, cant wait to get the rest of the gauges
