WTF?? I had A VERY Informative Thread going on yesterday about Easy Launches,
ie., Stop Encounters where you don't want to do a FULL THROTTLE Launch and look like an idiot and Some one Deleted it?? What Gives??

For ANY Potential Buyers this thread was FULL of VERY VERY Valuable information!!! In fact had I known you couldn't do an EASY Launch (Lower RPM Quiet Launch) with these cars I PERSONALLY wouldn't have Bought One!!

So...Tell me Why?Who deleted this IMPOPTANT to the PUBLIC AT LARGE Thread????

 

I saw that thread and remember the purpose of your question being to beat someone else on the street. Which kinda breaks the rules about street racing posts. Just a thought.

 

I didn't say a WORD about STREET RACING..the Thread was SIMPLY about EASY Launching...NOT STREET RACING!!!!!!

I never got to see this post. But, if it contained what I think it might have contained, where you take all the slack out of the driveline, then yeah, it is a good idea.

 

No, it was about launching from 2500 RPM so you don't "look like an idiot" when there's another car next to you (I believe the ex. was a vette) and you're not sure if he wants to "test you" or some other such nonsense.

It was 100% about street racing, anyone that read the thread can attest to that.

I mean an easy launch isnt really that much different from a "normal" launch.

If I recall correctly, you said something to the effect of, "Is there a way to launch when you're at a light with another car and you don't want to look stupid doing an all out 5000rpm launch when they don't even end up wanting to race you?"
