It cost $4,400 for a new one from Japan! I need one as soon as possible. If anyone can help at all please help!

Been without driving my Evo for 6 months now...

Did you lose one? Did you break it? Get that badboy rebuilt.

 

What happened to the original,that's a brand new IX.

 

No because a tow truck pulled car without dolly or flatbed!

 

Sue the tow company.

 

Check with Autozone, they have a rebuilt core exchange program. Also check the off topic forum , there are a few doutchbags that already crashed their cars due to poor driving skills,negligence or dui.

No one even knows what to call the piece... Some call it AWD Rear Unit; and others call it a transfer case. They pulled it apart and say it will cost $3000 to just put it back together without the new part. But, what use is that? ...the car still won't move! My other choice is a part from Japan for $4400! All I am basically doing is paying for shipping. They say it can't be rebuilt...unless they are lying.

 

Sueing them is a battle still being faught. The Evo is my only source of transportation.

I hear TRE or Shep for the win! Hope I never have that problem. Why do you have to go through the hassle of sueing. Why can't people just stand up and say hey I screwed up? Especially when they know they are in the wrong anyways.

 

can you get those somewhere other than lancershop? they charge alot to ship a sticker! all they need is an envelope with a stamp, ya know?
