Do a boost leak test. Just because your boost gauge reads 19psi doesn't mean you don't have a leak. You can still have a leak with your boost gauge reading correctly. Do that first, then get tuned.

exactly what TPayne84 said.Your running running rich not lean. The MAF is seeing more airflow so its telling the ECU to dump more fuel on a car that already runs rich in its stock form. Get a tune of some sort and you will be fine.

i dont want to argue on it being rich or lean, i lowered ithe mbc since the mods and when i test it i just do one or two runs at 19. ii kinda feels like a boost leak but the mbc is set the same place it was before the mods for 19psi so i didnt turn up the mbc higher or anything if it was reading 19psi, that means 19psi was making it into the intake manifold so thats why i didnt think it could be that basically its not any mods i thought a boost leak, maybe the clutch slipping, its not the motor itself because 1-3 feel just like they should but 4th and fifth have the problem seems like even when it builds up boost its not doing anything.

After re-reading your post its sounds like your paranoid. A noisy TO bear has nothing to do with anything. If your clutch is slipping your gonna see your tach. jumping up, but you wont be accelerating. If yor worried about a leaky intake manifold then do a leak down test. Its easy and all you need is $10 in parts from home depot and a bicycle pump. Do a search.

Bottom line is: if your gonna run an open element intake you need to get tuned for it. Do a boost leak test if you wanna make yourself feel better.

do you have a fuel pump? if not dont really raise the boost. and remember you need to be tuned for a fuel pump in order for it to work up to its potential.

The way to tell if your clutch is slipping is : Put the car in 5th and floor it. if you see the RPM's go up but your not going any faster, then your clutch is slipping.

Where is your intake positioned? Is it in the engine bay behind the radiator? Consider this..... the stock air scoop grabs the cool air from the front of the car. Many of the aftermarket intakes I've seen pick up air from inside the engine bay. So... outside air goes through the intercooler heating up, then it goes through the radiator heating up even more. If you've put your hand behind the radiator fan while it's blowing, you know how hot that air is. Well, now you're sucking up that hot air into your intake.

Hot air is bad for power production, and it's even worse for turbos/compressors. The higher the intake temp, the greater the delta T of the air after being compressed for a given pressure ratio. End result is higher air temps going into the motor, even after the intercooler. And that of course kills power.
