Check the how-to section. It's there somewhere.

Do you have the radio relocation kit? I think ams sells them or your dealer can order it. Once you get that it is pretty easy.

No relocation kit is needed with the MR or RS.

Are you sure? The salesman gave me mine when I bought the car so I used it. Good thing I didn't pay for it.

I can confirm, nothing extra is needed for the MR. Did the swap last week myself. I just PM'd instructions to someone the other day. Here ya go:

Look at the gauge panel. Look at the lip above the gauges. You will see 2 screws pointing up. Remove them.

Pull the shroud straight out away from the gauge panel. It might be tight, its held in by 2 snap clips on the bottom.

Remove the screw from each corner of the gauge pod, 4 total. There are black plastic shims behind the panel that the screws went to. Set them aside. They will go in that same location when you put the stereo there.

Pull out the gauge panel. Mark each connector going into the gauge and then mark the gauge itself. (for example I used 1 2 3)

Disconnect the connectors and pull the tube off the boost gauge.

Pull off the HVAC knobs. Behind the two outermost knobs you will see a goldish screw behind each (2 screws total). remove them.

Pull the shroud straight out from around the HVAC controls and the stereo. It is held in by a few clips.

Remove the 4 screws holding the stereo in. Leave the brackets on the stereo.

Disconnect the antenae and the plug going into the stereo.

Relocate the gauge connectors and the boost hose up to where the radio use to inhabit.

Move the radio plug and antanae cable down to where the gauges used to reside.

Reconnect/install everthing in reverse. Remember, the two black plastic shims get installed behind the radio in the lower position, just like they were when you removed the gauge panel.

While you have the gauge panel out you can re-arrange the gauges to put the boost gauge closer to the drivers seat. Just remember to look at your marked connectors and install the correct connectors to the right gauge.

That's good to know. I'm curious why you can do that on the mr and rs and not the gsr?

there were mount brackets that came with the relocation kit for the radio that I needed when I did my swap. Its been so long though I really dont remember. I think I got the kit from 500whp.com for like $50 or something.
