HELP!How bad did mess up my evo???

so i was making a u turn lost control 360 the rear into the curb the drivers side rear wheel is cracked and the looks like i may have snaped my rear axle but not sure because the wheels still turn when i tryed to pull away into a parking lot but the rear wheel and tire is at like a 60 degree angle on the drivers side the passanger side looks normal how how much damage could have been done im assuming its gunna be pritty bad because of the all wheel drive basically im trying to decide if i should just pay out of pocket to fix or go though my insurance someone pleaswe give me some advice.

May be as simple as a broken stud on the ball joint or worse. Need pics.

Can I just ask how you managed to spin your car 360 degrees doing a U-turn? That's what it sounds like you did from your post. How fast were you going, and what were the road conditions?

lost control in a U-turn? Sounds like someone was trying to power oversteer out of a U turn and got owned...

Definitely gonna be a few grand.

You know how it is out there, those curbs are just jumping in the middle of the road hitting cars these days. The cubs keep getting in my way.

Your car will never drive the same, I was in an accident where somebody hit me and I'm in the process of selling the car, there was front axle damage, yours might be more serious since the wheel was cracked in half, but once you get it fixed it will pull to the right or left on perfect alignment, and your AWD is not going to be 100% ever again, a hit to the drivetrain is pretty bad for AWD, I suggest you sell it.

Only part I agree is the "I suggest you sell it part"

We really need pics to see the damage. If the frame is not tweaked you should be able to bring it back to 100% recovery. You most likely will have to replace a control arm/tie rod/struts, but you should be able to bring it back to life. But if the frame is tweaked, report it to insurance and get rid of it.

this is totally untrue, i broke a wheel and pulled out the axle at the same time and my car is now better than it ever was. of course i'm muellerized...

post up some pics, it might be anywhere from 1-3K$ in damage depending on the severity of the damage, post some pics up for a better estimate on what parts you actually broke
