whats a good way to see if my ecu has been flashed yet? i bout my evo like 5 weeks ago and just yesterday i tryd my first launch and i was able to launch it at 5000 rpms and i didnt try again with higher rpms so im curious is my ecu flashed?

 

Whats year is your car? The factory launch is 5k. Did it bounce off the 5k mark

 

Probably should download the rom with ecuflash and compare the values to a stock ecu.

 

i have an 03 i thought the limit was 4k

 

No, on the 03 it does not have a factory launch control.

 

It does but it is set higher than the factory rev limiter, so you'll never see it.

yeah like the name says im a noob and i dont know what that all means

another thing..... one of my friends had told me that getting your ecu reflashed makes your car run ****ty under some weather conditions, is this true?
