quietest TBE

I know for the most part if you buy a good tbe its gonna sound nice n deep but not overly loud and obnoxious. I would like to know your peoples opinion on the quietest tbe for our cars, without hindering performance

The quietest would most likely be a fujitsubo TBE, with a resonated test pipe. Runner up I would say the tanabe medalion touring with a resonated test pipe. Do a search though, this has been discussed many times.

injen, hands down... i did research for like 6 months, including listening to about every exhaust there is ON cars and it was by far my favorite (however, there are many other quiet ones too)

I don't know..my buschur turboback with the magnaflow was damn quiet. I was actually a bit upset that there was almost no difference to stock when idling, but it sounds pretty mean at WOT, but definitely acceptable.

greddy sp2. Its a catback exhaust and not a turboback but its the quietest one I've heard so far besides stock. I've never hear the fujitsubo so I cannot say mine is louder or quieter than that one.

I'm also looking for a quiet TBE set-up and have listened to a car with the Apex'i NOIR Exhaust with a Tanabe Downpipe. I must say, that set up is pretty stealthy and quiet.

There are times when i go on evolutiom.net forums and wish there was someone who was paid to go through a thread then analyze and summarize all the posts into a concise/condensed report/article. Sometimes searching is just a pain with so many posts and threads (most of the posts are fluff).

K... I'm really bored and work and have been searching forever on this too. This seems to be the general consensus since "quiet" is subjective:

AVO
APS
RMR
Injen
Tanabe Touring
Apex'i WS
Greddy EVO2
Greddy SP2
Jic Spartan Type 2
Espelir
Buschur w/ Magnaflow
Fujitsubo
Works
RSR
HKS Hi-Power
B&B

And HFC helps a lot.
