That graph does not look right. The torque keeps rising to the peak of 287. But the horsepower drops off 5k rpms. It doesn't fit in with the horsepower torque equation.

Well the equation for horsepower is:
Horsepower = Torque * RPM / 5252

If torque was constant the horse power would go up linearly. If torque is increasing the horsepower will increase as well. Horsepower should not drop off as torque increases.

If we plug in the numbers:
287 at around 6500 rpms you get 355 hp.

Something just doesn't look right. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you are not reading the dyno sheet the right way - the trq curve is the one that starts off mega high and then falls down while the HP is building up from nothing and gradually rising up

Take another look at it and see if you can make sense of it - its confusing b/c their printer was running low on blue ink so the colors are off a bit

Al,

Why do the torque and HP lines cross at 5750 rpms? Mathematical point of intersection should be 5252 rpms. Something is out of synch here. Correction factors perhaps?

He doesn't have 287ft-lbs @ 6500 rpm.

He has about 260lb-ft @ 6500 which equals 320hp @ 6500.

So the dyno sheet is accurate.

Because the scales for HP & TQ on each side of the dyno sheet are different.

It blows out a puff of black smoke whenever I run it on the dyno - I keep it on the rich side and with no cat it dips very rich right as the boost comes on and shoots out a bit of smoke

They posted some pictures up on my page . . . . http://www.pruvenperformance.com/alevo.htm

They are at the bottom of the page

They are too dark you really can't see it that well - but you can get the idea of how the intercooler changes the apperance of the front of the car at least

No - its what I was told - now i did my own tests

Also - the bigger fmic plays a part in the power increase also

And at the same boost point it does not make any extra power - the deletion of the exhust allowed me to raise the boost

This was at 150 KPA'a falling down to 135 KPA's
